REVIEW: TAOS HOLIDAY COLLECTION METALLIC LIPSTICKS

HAPPY NEW YEAR GUYS!!

It is late, I know I know! But I am back!

And I am starting off with a review of the Metallic liquid lipsticks Taos launched during the holidays.

It is gonna be quick one, so check out the pictures!

Metallic lips are really in right now! So Taos created these for their holiday collection. Nigerian brands are really stepping up their game, it is mind blowing! Let's see what the lippies are all about

SANTA's BABY

This is a plummish color and this color applied really well. Infact one of the best out of the bunch

TWINKLE TWINKLE

This is a bronzy rusty shade and it is really bold and so yum and yes I love it. This also applies pretty well

GRINCH

This is such an unexpected color! GREEN. I didn't know what to expect from this shade at first, but it is actually bomb! It also applied really really well.

UNDER THE MISTLETOE

This is a gorgeous gold shade and I am totally in love with it. the application of this shade was a bit patchy and less smooth than the other shades. But it is still workable, somehow. This shade is infact my fav out of the bunch.

PACKAGING

These came in a holiday box as shown above. Really cute.

PIGMENTATION

The liquid lipsticks are quite pigmented, one can make do with one swipe.

FORMULA AND TEXTURE

This is creamy in texture and it makes application easy

They are also matte, and the shimmers don't transfer once dry. down side to this is they are quite drying, but surprisingly very lightweight and comfortable

APPLICATION

They applied really smoothly. In my honest opinion they do apply better than their velvetines. Which really surprised me because metallic can be sometimes tough to work with. Under the mistletoe was the only one that was a BIT patchy. And I mean a BIT.
