ELF EYELID PRIMER PEARL
Elf Eyelid Primer has to be one of the best eye primers i have used. this particular shade pearl, has little shimmer and i find it really suitable for metallic eyeshadows. It just gives that extra oomph! Really loving it at the moment
MAC PREP AND PRIME LINE FILLER
I am not so much of a fan of the prep and prime face primer that people rave about, but this LINE FILLER is a winner for me! It is silicone based and fills in lines, wrinkles etc giving your foundation a perfect base. I carry this with me when I work on mature skin and it just does a splendid job.
ZARON EYEBROW FILLER
When I use this product I keep asking myself "how did you used to do brows without this product?" I just love it! I rarely use pencils anymore. I use this on a wide range of skin colors!! The powder is is translucent and if you can blend well, you would find that it goes well on many skin tones.

MILANI FACE POWDER
This one deserves a big kiss! Funny story about this product. I never ever read the back in details. I remember the first time I used it, I mumbled to myself "Why didnt they just call this thing a finishing powder?" Then I read the back another time when I was awed by how flawless and matte it made the face, and alas! It was wriiten there "THE MULTITASKER FACE POWDER- Setting, Finishing and Blotting. Let me just tell you now, this powder does all it says! It is amazing! It is soooo velvety! Love this one!
MAC STUDIO SCULPT CONCEALER
This is the first MAC concealer I really understand the reason it is pricey! It is consistent, thick but not dry. It is creamy and it applies smoothly. One thing I dont understand about it, as with other MAC face product is the shade system. I have warm undertones, and products like iman with natural red/yellow undertones fit me the most. You'd think an NW in MAC would do itfor me, but I've found that this concealer works best for me in NC 50 rather than NW 45-55.
MILANI GLITTER STRIPES
Growing up, I actually wasted a lot of money on expensive products, such as Bobbi Brown. Especially the famous bronzer (can't remmeber its name now) that comes in stripes just like this. But thank God I later discovered that MILANI IS KING WHEN IT COMES TO BRONZERS! YOU CAN'T TOUCH THAT! CANNOT!! This is an amazing product, suitable for many skin tones. Verrrry pigmented, for that highlighted nose,you cannot go wrong with this product.
TARA THE MAKEUP EYE SHADOW BASE
God forbid I go on set without this product!! GOD FORBID! Show me a better eyeshadow base (i'll wait while you try) and maybe this won't be the case! I initially thought this product was trash, and I was very disappointed in my alma mata, but the problem was with me, I did not know how to use it! You only need A LITTLE and make sure it is NOT creamy on the eyelid, it has be to dry! It is amazing! Love this!
BOBBI BROWN BLUSH IN CORAL
There is nothing corally about this blush, but boy does it give a healthy glow.I am one of those people that use shimmery blush in the day time and this is just perfect when i dont want to use bronzers and all that. this on the apple of my chee and I'm good to go! the shimmers are subdued and not so pigmented so, it is good for a daytime glow!

I got questions on the lipstick I used when i did the part one of this post! I used a DAVIS dual jumbo liner in blue, and used my Ushas lip oil I talked about in the previous post!

ReplyDeleteI tried a Milani bronzer some time back and it was the glitteriest mess ever. I've still got it, coz I'm still hoping that maybe I can figure out how to make it work. It totally scared me of other Milani face products.

Milani powder is d ish mehn! Am also loving cover girl lipstick in spellbound. Dat thing doesn't cum off except with a toothbrush on ur lip. Zaron lenghtnening mascara, blackup fluid foundation and all dia pencils r jst wow. Some milani pencils r off d hook aswell
ReplyDeleteMilani is everything for me. I so love their products. The face powder, liquid gel liner, mascara, and bronzer are one of my faves in my makeup kit. The house of tara eyeshadow base just keeps looking at me like "aunty try again na" I've gotten it 3 times and I never touched it cos the real owners (u know what I mean na) could not just spare it for a minute. And for that zaron eyebrow definer, who the hell came up with that? That product is amaaaazing.
