EVENT: LAGOS MAKEUP FAIR II + EYEBROW COMPETITION WINNER

Hey guys!

If you are a makeup lover and you missed the Lagos Makeup Fair 2, permit me to say you missed a loooooooooot! Hit your head with a frying pan, bang your head on the wall, pour hot indomie water on yourself ..lool!! Ok I kid, but it was amazeballs!

I personally think this year's fair could have been titled " Reloaded" or something because believe you me, it was times 5 of last year's!! The venue, the atmosphere, products, turnout and what have you!! I had an engagement later in the day, so I just threw on some clothes and went there quite early and I had to leave before all the fun began...but even as early as I got there, the turn out was amazing!

The usual suspects like, House of Tara, Hegai and Esther, Arike, Taries World,Wow Factor, Lise, Giftys daughter, Sleek, etc were there in all their glory as well as new ones like Beauty Revolution, Belezza etc.

Check out the pictures..

Hegai & Esther stand

Makeup boxes and makeup artist tools were available at this stand

My beauty revolution came loaded with various makeup favourites..

mac powders, ben nye powders, blush palettes, wet n wild palettes

Nyx Lipstick,  Maybelline

My makeup Hair in different styles and lengths

Lise Beauty was also there ...

Face sketch had natural soaps and oils on their stand,

The  boys at the Tara stand posed for the camera ;)

WOW FACTOR displayed a wide array of cosmetics and jewelries

 Taries World came fully loaded!!

Next stop Giftys Daughter, this stand had one of the most widest selection of makeup, from Nyx to Fashion Fair, to Giftys Daughter, to Ben Bye, Cover Girl, Makeup boxes and tools, OCC, etc, I walked away with goodies from this stand :D

Finally found Arike!

And then I met a fan of TheMakeupTales!

Quick picture of myself and Taries World manager,

With Remi Leimu of Wow Factor, she always has those scarce and limited edition MAC lippies and stocks brands you'll rarely find here like, Ecotools, Milani, Manuel Overide, Graftobian, Mineral Essentials etc!

I prayed to God to help me keep my hands out of my wallet and bag. I deliberately left my wallet at home, and went with my friend. I wanted to buy only things I needed (like that is possible)! MEHN I TRIED!!! I PRAISE MYSELF!! These are the few thing i got for myself, business

Got this makeup carrier from Arike, for those jobs you don't really need to carry much around. Also great for carry on when flying.

Arike matte eyeshadow, I got one last year and I have been looking for more ever since. Ben Nye Banana powder...yes I finally gave in... Got this dual ended brush from Wow Factor, I also got this last year and I couldn't resist adding another one the family especially when the price was like 1/3 of what it was! got the beauty blenders from Hegai and Esther, I also got these last year ( lol repeat offender), they were of nice quality, so I decided to buy again..

Free stuff I got..yay me! Then I got these freebies from Giftys Daughter, Hegai and Esther and Taries World.

I had a lot of fun! I met beauty bloggers like myself, one of note was Barbara of Barbara&1923 ( click HERE to check here amazing blog!!) If you missed this one, make sure you don't miss the next one.You won't regret it!! Trust me!

EYEBROW COMPETITION!!
The eyebrow competition was a lot more than I expected!! Wowzers! You guys really brought it! Thanks to the contestants and to those that voted!! It was really fun!!

You guys voted and the poll has been closed (you can still view it to verify results). The contestant with the highest votes turned out to be NNEKA! Congrats girl!!

You guys rock!! We should do this again!!!
