CHEAP AND CHEERFUL!: ARTMATIC RED CHERRY LIPSTICK
Hey guys!
A BIG THANK YOU FOR THOSE THAT PARTICIPATED IN THE GIVEAWAY! If you didn't know the winners have been announced! You can check HERE for info. There's also a little note that I think you guys should read! Thanks!
................................................................................................................................................................
I'm here again with a new series which shall be a regular on this blog!
This series is about relatively CHEAP products with GREAT GREAT quality! Products you might have overlooked because of the price, because most people have that "If its cheap, its no good" mentality. I'm always on the prowl for cheap but great products. I'm not a firm believer of 'you get what you pay for' as sometimes that is never the case! Expensive brands sometimes fall below our expectations, mostly because of the price! You want it, you get excited about it, you buy it, and then you realize the cake's not worth the candle!!! Arrrrgghh!! you are there thinking " This is a waste of money!! how much did i pay for this??!! Laduru owo ti mo san, rubbish to wa ninu pangolo lipstick yi ti e ni? yada yada yada!!.. I've been there several times.., it's like serving cheap wine from expensive bottles!! It can pain!! (This is NOT to say, all expensive products are not worth it!!)
Anyways, this sweetheart i'll be talking about today I found in a friends's makeup bag (yes never leave your makeup bag with me!!) and she went on to tell me how good it was! fortunately we went out together so I got to see how long it lasted! I had to get it! She gave me hers but i still went out to look for it! I found it and i bought 3 tubes because it was really scarce ( yes that is a good excuse for buying 3 lippies in the same shade and brand!!!)...well I gave out one, I don't know what to do with the remaining two!! Maybe sell it?
The Artmatic USA red cherry lipstick comes in a silver tube which is surprisingly sturdy..but I hate this packaging..i really do!! If it isn't black, make it gold or something, but not silver...ahhh!!
SWATCHES
with diffused flash |
Here you can see how pigmented it is... and the satin finish is quite visible
without flash |
With flash, blotted with tissue |
This is how it looks on me... My lips have really been in a state, it's been calling for me to use more lipgloss or creme finish lipsticks ( because it has been at its driest, and it so happens that there's no harmattan anymore, this has left me confused!!)...but meehhhh, I own it, not the other way round loooool
So the other day, I wore this lipstick out, I went to two makeup studios, and I got asked by two people..."is this rubywoo, did u put lipgloss on your rubywoo?" lol i just laughed...after we talked about it..(you know how makeup addicts love to analyze brands and shades, and bond from there...loool), i told them the price and they couldn't believe it!!
Around 10.30 in the morning.. |
Around 4 p.m Yes..about 5 hours..I had a bottle of sprite and some snacks...and I think after 5 hours, the amount of tint i had on my lips was quite impressive |
Pros:
Very pigmented
Good lasting power
Doesn't transfer
Non-drying
4.1g..that's a lot of product!
Flattering shade for most skin tones
GREAT PRICE!!
Cons:
The packaging!!! (color)
Then the this blue thing on the tube!! jeez!!
Just look at this..loool! |
YES!! Three hundred Naira!! If you've got good Ijebu skills like me, you could get it cheaper!
Where to buy: I bought this at an Open Market ( Eko Market in Lagos). Well you could also send me an email, since i've got 2 of this with me! :D
Do you have this product, or this brand in other products, do you know of cheap but awesome makeup products?? PLEASE let me know!!!!
Thanks for reading guys!

Many thanks for sharing!
Here is my weblog: Going Here []
Undeniably believe that which you stated. Your favorite justification appeared to
ReplyDeletebe on the net the easiest thing to be aware of.
I say to you, I definitely get irked while people consider worries that they
just do not know about. You managed to hit the nail upon the top and
also defined out the whole thing without having side effect , people could take a signal.
Will likely be back to get more. Thanks
Here is my page Chaussures De Foot (Http://Smu-Fr.Org/Chaussuredefoot.Html)
This design is steller! You most certainly know how to
ReplyDeletekeep a reader amused. Between your wit and your videos, I was almost moved to start my own blog (well, almost.
..HaHa!) Fantastic job. I really loved what you had to say, and more than that,
how you presented it. Too cool!
